Computational Social Science Research on Sustainability & Climate Change

Projects
We are working on various projects studying climate change and sustainability. One of our research areas uses Twitter data to study how climate change & sustainability are discussed online, with a special emphasis on misinformation, "greenwashing", and the spread of conspiracy theory. Another area of research uses survey data to document public opinion and behavior about the changing climate, public policy solutions aimed at mitigating climate change, and sustainability behavior. We are also interested in environmental justice and building communities that are resilient in the face of extreme weather events and climate chang.e
